Productivity: Standard 2-6:BCS-CA1-2, BCS-CA1-3, CA1-4, BCS-CA1-5,&BCS-CA1-6
Students will become productive with the use of a variety of input technologies including word processing and/or desktop publishing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software to create, edit and publish industry appropriate software.
This demonstrates my knowledge of using technology to increase productivity because:
1. I used excel to organize information.
2. I used excel to create a graph.
3. I determined what information I needed based off the spreadsheet
The following is what I learned from this particular assignment: How to organize information and create a graph using excel.
BCS-CA1-3. Students will use word processing and/or desktop publishing software through a variety of input technologies to create, edit, and publish industry approprite documents.
This demonstrates my knowledge of using technology to increase productivity because:
1. I was able to show that I can use microsoft word
2. I can send this to a large amount of people without making copies
3. This is faster than handwriting
The following is what I learned from this particular assignment: How to create a document to send to a large amout of people.
BCS-CA1-4. Students will use spreadsheet software to create, edit, and publish industry appropriate files.
This demonstrates my knowledge of using technology to increase productivity because:
1. I was able to organize information quickly
2. I can search for specific information quickly
3. Update the information easily
The following is what I learned from this particular assignment: I learned to enter information into a document.
BCS-CA1-5. Students will use database software to create, edit, and publish industry appropriate files.
This demonstrates my knowledge of using technology to increase productivity because:
1. I used powerpoint to display information
2. I used this to display information to a class about Solids, Liquids, and Gases
3. I learned how to enter information into a ppt.
